Configuration

Most of the customizations for PHMS reside in the Preferences window accessible from the Options menu. Virtually all of the preferences data is stored in the database in the preferences table. The sole exception to this rule is the Hospital ID while is stored in the registry key
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\GalacticaSoftware\PHMS Database Client
Other options that are also stored at that registry key include window positioning and sizes.

As most of preferences is stored in the database, any change in the preferences will have global implications. That is, a change in the preferences will affect ALL installations of PHMS at a given site. For these reasons, only database superuser (postgres) may be able to affect these settings.

Reports are configured from the Options→Reports menu
