PHMSDocumentation |
ReportsThere are two basic types of reports available in PHMS, Both of these reports are available directly from the Patient List window. Just to repeat what what said in previous tutorial, to get the the Patient List window, go to Patients → List All from the main window. Go there now. Locate our zero based patient ID and expand their record (click the little [+] next to their patient id). Individual ReportsIndividual reports are specific to each record type. For example, right click on any of the patient's 6-min walks and select Preview Report from the popup menu. Now close the report. Right click on an assessment and select Preview Report. You should see a difference from the report for the 6-min walk. For each of the record types you can preview a report and/or you can print it. TrendsYou should now be in the Patient List window and be looking at our zero-based patient ID. Now, right click on a 6-min walk test and select 6-min Trend. A window should popup that should look like the one in the following screenshot.
This trend is a summary of all the 6-min walk tests entered for our patient. After looking around the trend window, close it to go back to the Patient List window. Another type of trend is the general trend. To access it, right click on our patient and select Trend. This will popup a window that should look like the following screenshot.
This trend will list all of the numeric data from Assessments, Followups and 6-min Walks. The data is listed in reverse-chronological order - the latest data on the left and the oldest towards the right. Each column is dated with a single letter in front of the date. The lettering refers from where all (or most) of the data in that column came from (an Assessment, a Followup or a 6-min Walk). As you can see, it is quite empty because we have not entered much data in this tutorial. An important function of this trend is that it will enable you to graph arbitrary data. To graph data, simply select the rows you wish to graph just like on a spreadsheet (select multiple rows by holding down Ctrl and clicking). Then press graph to graph the data. For the graph to be displayed, you will need to have at least two data points
Concluding RemarksThis concludes our short tutorial. You should now be able to enter data, edit it and produce basic reports. There is only one thing to be done to conclude this tutorial and that is to clean up the database from our test patient. Go the the Cleanup section. |
